1. Please log in to your computer and go to csd4.edmodo.com. (Side note: always have students log in to our csd4.edmodo.com website, NOT the www.edmodo.com website. We can easily track student usage through our subdomain)
Technology Integration Activities
1. Badges - You can assign badges to students! Great for motivation and praising students for their hard work or for fun! The videos below will guide you through HOW to assign a badge, and how to create or copy a badge to add to your collection.

2. Signing Up as a Student - Here is the Google Presentation I used with you today, feel free to make a copy and change it for your class!

3. Setting up a Student Profile -
Have students set up their profile.

4. Creating an Avatar - Have students create their own profile picture! Students can go to www.buildyourwildself.com and create an avatar or use Educreations/Doodle Buddy to draw a picture of themselves on an iPad.

5. Turning in an Assignment - Students can turn in documents such as word, powerpoints, or google docs directly to you in Edmodo! No more taking papers home!

6. Book Blogs and Vlogs (Using iPads) - Book Blogs and Vlogs are ways students can respond to a book or novel in your class. From your group, you can create a "Small Group". Students in this activity can use the camera on their iPad to record themselves talking about a book or asking a question. Then they log in to Edmodo and attach their movie as a file to a post for others to view and comment on.

7. Picture Hunt (using iPads) - Using the iPad app "Skitch" have students take pictures and label them, then they can upload their pictures to Edmodo

8. Adding Links to My Backpack- Students have a virtual "Backpack" where they can store website links, documents, or google docs
