Promoting Wonder with Web Exploration (a.k.a Creating WebQuests)
Are you looking for a perfect tool for your inquiry-based, collaborative classroom? Then, this class is great for you! You’ll learn the ins and outs of creating your own WebQuests from scratch that will give you amazing results! Come with a project/lesson in mind to get started. (3-12) |
Creating Technology Rich Centers
This is a hands-on class in which you will be designing centers that incorporate technology that students can use with an iPad. This is a perfect class to get ready for centers this year in any subject! Please bring an iPad to class. Please bring your iPad to class and download Sock Puppets (free) and ScreenChomp (free). Are your students natural-born Google Drive-rs? Are you looking for a way to streamline the sharing process in Google? Then, you should be using Google Classroom! We’ll show you how to make the transition to Google Classroom seamlessly as well as how to create templates, assignments, and eliminate the “Shared with Me” folder fiasco! (4-12) |
iMovie for Mac
Learn the movie-making business from start to finish using the iMovie app on your MacBook. Participants will start with storyboarding, use iMovie to create a video, and then learn how to share creations. Bring your MacBook to class. |

It is a great way to gather information on student understanding and it’s built directly into Mastery Connect which we’ll all be using for the 2015-16 school year. Best of all, it is a multi-platform app which means regardless of the technology in your building (MacBooks, PCs, or iPads) it’ll work with Socrative! |
