Grandview C4 iPad District Rules: Use this Google presentation to go over the rules for the iPad. Students will use the graphics on each page to infer as to what the rule will be for the iPad. Tell students that they will be tested over these rules in order to pass the iPad license test.
Elementary iPad License Test When your students are ready to take the test, hand out the test. There are TWO parts of the test, the written test and the iPad test drive. The written test is compiled of short answer response questions that will show you if they understand the rules. The second part of the test is where you will call up students one at a time and ask them to show you how to use the basic functions of the iPad. If you would like to change this test, click on File - Make a Copy and you will be able to edit questions to your liking!
Tip #1: When your students pass their test to earn their iPad Driver's license, have a ceremony where you present their new license to them! Make it fun and make it a big deal!
Tip #2: Laminate each license and put velcro on the back of each license to display on a poster board or bulletin. If students break a rule you can ask students to take their license down, meaning they will not be able to use the iPad for a week. To have all the license's up on display in your classroom makes it easy for you to see what iPad students ! are using and who may not use the iPads for the week.
